Their online chat does not work, and there is no number to call support directly. I have filled out a form that says they will contact me within 24 hours. No contact. Went through their number to try and get a workable serial number, and they filled out a ticket for tech support. Still no contact. I use this product daily to do edit PDF's, now I am out of business with it as it will not perform tasks without leaving a nasty watermark on the documents.
It appears as if their serial number checking is dynamic in real time and somehow their database is corrupted which tells the product not to work for me. This is a cluster F. Please Amazon, drop the Corel line. They obviously don't care about their end users. Let's face it. Adobe Acrobat is the golden standard for a PDF toolkit. This is definitely not Adobe Acrobat. It does what I need it to do. I can compile several PDF's into a single document I use this on a PC computer that is running the most current version of Windows 10, and it works fine.
The interface is a little weird and unfriendly, but once you figure it out, you get used to it like any other software application. The installation of the software was a bit quirky. I downloaded and installed it, but when it got to the point where it asked for the serial number to finish the installation, it would not accept the serial number that was given to me in my Amazon Software library. So I installed the software as a day trial version. I chose "Enter Serial Number I copied the serial number out of my Amazon Software Library and pasted it into the Serial Number field in the software.
Then I clicked the "OK" button. That solved the serial number problem. I did not contact Corel's tech support line to solve this installation problem, so I can't rate their tech support. But I will say this Problems like the one I had with installation simply do not happen with the "gold standard" software programs like Adobe Acrobat.
However, I can't afford the premium price of Adobe Acrobat. I paid a very reasonable price for the basic features of a PDF converter program. If you need something more robust, you probably need to look at a more robust solution.
I hope that helps! January 3, I just upgraded my rating from three stars to four stars. I've been using this software for a few weeks now and it is very satisfactory! Nothing more but nothing less than what I need. I'm a fairly high-end user, and it meets my requirements. I'd give it five stars, but the installation glitch would need to be fixed before I do that.
It says it edit's PDF's, after several hours of trying and not succedding I contacted support. It is a basic tool designed to let you assemble, correct and merges various common types of basic documents to create basic PDF files, unlike other more advanced PDF creator software. PDF Fusion can only do very minor edits. You need to be in Page view View, Page.
